Recently, the North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce formed the North Ridgeville Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (NRCCPac). As the Chamber continues its efforts in the political arena, it became apparent that we needed to form the PAC for two main reasons.
- Due to election financing laws, we felt our candidate forums and our endorsement positions should be separate functions from the Chamber itself.
- In the rapidly changing business environment that faces North Ridgeville, we may find it necessary to support local, county, and state officials who have a "pro-business" agenda.
One of the most important functions of a chamber of commerce is representing the interests of the business community. We are focused on ensuring that North Ridgeville respects the contributions of the existing businesses and fosters growth in the business community. Our relationships with our local, county and state officials allows us an avenue to express our members' concerns no matter where they may arise. It is extremely important that when an issue arises, our elected officials will listen to our concerns.
Campaign finance laws limit contributions to those from individuals, partnerships and LLCs. If you would like more information on the NRCCPac or to make a contribution, please contact Dayle Noll - Executive Director.
